Scientific Programme

  • Informal meet-up Wednesday at 6pm-7.30pm (approx) in The the Dail Bar (corner of Cross Street and Middle Street).
  • Registration and coffee breaks will take place in Smokey's Café, Arts/Science Building (known locally as "The Concourse"), main campus of University of Galway.
  • All talks take place in AC201, in the Arts/Science Building, down the hallway from Smokey's.
  • The Excursion will by to Glengowna Mines, and Spiddal, departing 13.45 by nus.

Social Programme

  • Wednesday: Informal meet-up at 6pm-7.30pm (approx) in The the Dail Bar (corner of Cross Street and Middle Street).
  • Thursday: We'll have dinner at 18:00 on the 24th in Brasserie on the Corner, which is about 10 minutes walk from campus. We'll have the Pre-Theatre menu, which is €34.95 for three courses. Let Niall or Nanda know if you would like to attend, and if you will be accompanied by anyone.
  • Friday afternoon: Excursion to Glengowna Mines, and Spiddal, departing 13.30 from the Quadrangle by bus. €20 each. (Pay cash to Niall).
